I was going in for day surgery and I was concerned about going under. It has taken a long time for me to wake up before. I was seeing a hypnotherapist at the time and he helped with this.
He plugged in a phrase for others to say to me for calming. My Mom friend was there and she used it before and after surgery. I went under and woke up easier and I felt calmer. I was glad to have someone there open to doing this for me.
Six years later I still have the phrase up for me to see. When I feel nervous I can tap and say it out loud or in my head. It still feels calming.
Let’s be open to new experiences and supportive of others when we can
During a big change I had supportive friends that would gently remind me of my tools. I shared them with them and they could remind me. They even came in handy for them at times.
When we are open with others it can help them and yourself in times of need.
When we go through life changes it can be a struggle and we could need to reach out to others for a bit of support.
Let’s be open to reaching out to others when needed and being supportive when we can too.
Here's a great quote from: Love for No Reason by Marcie Shimoff and Carol Kline
“Whatever you are doing, love yourself for doing it.
Whatever you are feeling, love yourself for feeling it.” – Thaddeus Golas, twentieth-century philosopher
This reminded me of the set up statement for Gary Craig style tapping that I use. Even though I feel _____ I love and accept myself. When tapping on something we are also tapping in loving ourselves.
Let’s love ourselves where we are at.

The self-care ideas that you thought or wrote about from Monday pick some and add them to your calendar.
When we put them on the calendar with reminders it can encourage us to do them.
Write or think about ways you are open to do self-care in your week.
Examples; more sleep, yoga, tapping
Sometimes we need to delegate tasks. Let’s be open to delegating when possible.
Are there any self-care areas you want to change or add?
Recently I noticed I haven’t been doing as much self-care for my body. I need to change this. I took one off the calendar I wasn’t doing and added ones that I am open to doing. I decided to have some reminders for these on my calendar.
I use to do yoga daily and I want to bring it back into my life again. It felt great doing it and my body was happier too.
Recently I was feeling pulled in many directions. While chatting with a friend it came to me that I need to focus on certain areas at this time. I can pick up and do the other things as my schedule opens up.

This is a great blog about ways we give our power away.
Let’s stand in our power:
As I was walking the other day I was enjoying the warm feeling of the sun on my face. I miss it in the winter months. Then I realized I can create a visualization of the sun on my face and enjoy it any time. Especially on gray days and I plan to hold point while doing it.
Let’s visualize what we need and enjoy it any time.
