When facing fears remember to set yourself up for success and be proud of what you do no matter how big or small it is.
It’s a journey and it’s worth it.
When facing my fear and going for it,
We can create great adventures while facing our fears.
I was going in for day surgery and I was concerned about going under. It has taken a long time for me to wake up before. I was seeing a hypnotherapist at the time and he helped with this.
He plugged in a phrase for others to say to me for calming. My Mom friend was there and she used it before and after surgery. I went under and woke up easier and I felt calmer. I was glad to have someone there open to doing this for me.
Six years later I still have the phrase up for me to see. When I feel nervous I can tap and say it out loud or in my head. It still feels calming.
Let’s be open to new experiences and supportive of others when we can
During a big change I had supportive friends that would gently remind me of my tools. I shared them with them and they could remind me. They even came in handy for them at times.
When we are open with others it can help them and yourself in times of need.
There are many things to take care of when you get married. We needed to do the banking business and decided to do it on a Saturday. There was so many other things needing done that we forgot to do it. This reminded me I need to put important things on the calendar or it could get missed.
Let’s remember to use our tools. It makes life easier.
Life is busy at times; the weekends are even busier than the weekdays for us. This last few weekend was packed full but we made sure to fit in some fun.
We hadn’t been up the gorge for a while so we cruised up to Stevenson Oregon and had lunch by the river. It was great to fit in some fun between all the responsibilities needing to get done.
Let’s remember to fit in some fun between the hustle and bustle in our lives.

When we think about and write it down it can make it more real.
Sometimes it’s hard to ask or accept help for myself. On my road to declutter and rearranging I’ve had to reach out to people and ask to move heavy things and more. I was surprised how hard it was sometimes and as I write this I realize I turned down some help that I could have used. I just needed to look at it from a different view and see it’s not wasting others time.
Let’s be open to different views and appreciate the assistance offered from others.
