Tapping & Breathing
With our busy lives we can be running around from one thing to another, out of breath. When we breathe into our upper chest or when looking in the mirror while taking a breath and the shoulders raise up and down, this is shallow breathing and can add to feeling nervous, uneasy and more.
No-brainier breathing tip: Take a breath into the belly and when releasing it, blow the breath out through pursed lips. Repeat this three times. Over the next week check in on your breathing on occasion.
It feels awesome to breathe deep and release.
Adventures add joy to our lives. Usually it’s me looking for adventures although it was my Hubby coming up with some recently. It was fun hearing his excitement and ideas.
He found an interesting park by a river and we headed out after lunch and some tasks were complete. It was fun to be in the shade by the river watching the boats zoom by, enjoying the scenery around us.
Let’s be open to adventures and ideas from others. It can open the door to more irresistible beauty and joy.

What epic surprise have you pulled off?
It’s been over 18 months since this train ride home (to Portland, OR) from California. I went to surprise a childhood friend for her wedding. I had assistance from others and can’t believe we kept it on the down low. It was great to surprise her and be there for her big day.
It was an epic wedding surprise!

Recently, I had a gift of a day to spend with a childhood friend. We laughed, talked and joked about playing like we did as kids. I can’t tell you how many years it’s been since we’ve been able to do this. It was a great reminder to enjoy the gifts of time that come and continue to play.
Let’s cherish the beautiful, awe-inspiring gifts of time that come our way, continue to play through our life and delight in the memories.
It’s easy to go down into a spiral of gloom but when we focus on optimistic thoughts and stay in the present, we create more delight in our moments.
