We can run into old messages and blocks that stop us in our tracks and lives. Some tips to assist with resistance and blocks are:
Give yourself the gift of making new joyful memories, releasing blocks and old uncomfortable feelings.
When coaching a person, something came to mind for moving forward in a different way.
Using our no muscle throughout our day can be great to build our empowerment but what do we do when our no muscle is tired. Instead of saying “no” why don’t we say “yes”. This doesn’t’ mean what you think it does. We have a lot of power with the words we use. One of these is choice and another is saying yes to the things that are best for our well-being. Here’s some examples:
I choose to say:
Saying no can get tiring and as the day goes on and when a big emotion, event or sensation in the body comes up, our no muscle can get worn-out. Then we can cave in to listening to the messages not to tap or take a leisurely walk or choose what’s best for our well-being.
Let’s practice our no muscle until it needs a rest and then start saying yes to what’s best for our well-being with some simple words, I choose to say yes to…. (a de-stress walk, tapping, fueling my body well).

In your life have you experienced something that holds you back from taking an action in the now. One of my words for 2020 is (fun) movement (more of it). I had an interesting experience with it today. I made a goal to just get up and dance with Body Grove, it didn’t matter how long. Just turn it on and groove.
At first, I pulled up the site and started getting lost in the choices but I caught it and just chose. As I was walking toward the TV and I saw the person dancing, I thought “what was I thinking!” One of the old messages I felt in my body was something like, I can’t dance but I walked past these and just listened, watched and started moving. It didn’t matter how I looked or what my body was or wasn’t doing. I was moving for my health and well-being. The tears started to flow; from past uncomfortable dancing experience’s and making new joyful ones. In my mind I was a graceful moving woman in flowing silky fabric.
I moved, felt success and released tears resistance holding me back from fun movement. The tears continued to flow even after this experience. I tapped, continued to feel good about my movement success and look forward to more of them.

When focusing on the unhappy or irritating we can feel grumpier. I was reminded of this after visiting a family member in a hospital. I can kind of laugh about it now, but at the time it felt big. Then I had a conversation with a person starting with a bit of grumping about hospital experience and my mind gave me a wake-up call:
Let’s acknowledge unhappy, irritating and grumpy emotions, look for the humor in it and keep our main focus in the happier zone.

Amelia Earhart was a go getter, doing what other women weren’t, in her time. She' fascinating to me. Here’s a great quote by her.

What is something interesting in your neck of the woods?
It still tickles me to be out for a drive and end up south of Foster in Portland, Oregon riding through a covered bridge. There're some great pictures in this blog.
