When we take care of ourselves first, we can have the loving, caring, enthusiastic energy to do for our important people, careers or business and more. An example story:
A single Mom’s exhausted and hasn’t had much sleep. Her kids are going to be in school until 3 PM. She wants to run around and get everything done impeccably before they’re home but she’s too tired to do it all.
She can choose to wear herself out and continue to deplete herself or she can choose to look at her list and dial it back some. Change her schedule to fit in a rest or nap, or take breaks throughout her day. Another thing she can choose to do is pull out a ready to go meal from the freezer for dinner. The kids and Mom could have a less hectic evening with Mom more rested with less cooking to do.
Lets be open to finding ways to self-care
